Description

Waiting out Philadelphia's "dynasty" that had supplanted "Murderers Row" (albeit for a brief three-year run), the 1930 New York Yankees had things right at the plate, pacing the circuit in runs (1,062), home runs (152) and team batting average (.309). Along the way, (5) pinstripers endorsed this OAL Barnard orb. The medium-toned sphere is home to steel tip fountain pen scriptings whose strengths vary. Headlining the keepsake (as always) Babe Ruth has rendered a side-panel penning that projects ("8") potency. The remaining signatures present at the ("8") plateau, as well, but unlike Ruth's, have been partially enhanced. Includes: Eddie Bennett (bat boy), Lou Gehrig, Mark Koenig and Tony Lazzeri (personalized and dated "May 11, 1930"). Full photo LOA from JSA.
