See the light of “Bright Path” with these (2) 1910s Jim Thorpe related sports programs. Present are: 1912 Stockholm Olympics program (VG) with a 2” spine split at bottom and 1919 New York Giants baseball program (GD) with two compacting folds and pencil notations at the top of the cover. Both programs are appealing and display better than their technical grades. Dated 7/15/12 the Olympics program features extensive baseball content and lists Thorpe in first place in the Pentathlon and as a participant in two track events. More on our website.

The 1919 Giants program lists Thorpe as a reserve outfielder on the scorecard page which is scored in pencil. The great Casey Stengel is listed on the visiting Pirates scorecard page.

The penathlon event is listed under its Swedish translation as “Femkamp” on page 11 of the 1912 Olympics program. Thorpe is also listed on page 18 (1,500 meter race) and page 20 (hop, step and jump). This program also bears pencil notations on several interior pages.
