Description

Five up. Five down. The screwball baffled Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Jimmie Foxx, Al Simmons and Joe Cronin as all whiffed in succession to Carl Hubbell in the 1934 All-Star Game. The future Hall of Famer endorsed the offered Upper Stand ticket stub which witnessed the pitching feat. The 2-1/4 x 2-1/4" voucher is penned in blue ink with the autograph presenting ("8-9"). Despite moderate tape reinforcements and a combination of other general wear, this relic still presents nicely. Full photo LOA from JSA.
