The “Crime Dog” launched 34 round-trippers as he helped power the 1988 Blue Jays to a sixth consecutive winning season. Along the way, the Tampa native brandished this Rawlings-Adirondack (34.9-oz/34-1/2”) “460B” block-letter model bat. The two-toned weapon features a tan handle and a black “Smith” finish on the barrel. Graded PSA/DNA GU 9, the white ash lumber exhibits heavy use with a 2” handle crack. Full photo LOA from PSA/DNA. Use characteristics include ball and deeply embedded stitch marks about the hitting surface, as well as transposed stampings from OAL Brown baseballs. There is scoring and pine-tar residue on the handle and a black marker notation of “19” on the knob.
